Sliding Windows

"Need more information on NJ vinyl replacement windows?"

Sliding windows, or sliders, are made up of two or three sashes that move horizontally to open and close. They are very practical and are generally a little less expensive than other types of windows. The seal between the windows is made with a weatherstripping at the vertical meeting rail, it's like a double-hung but laying on it's side. The sliders we recommend from Soft-lite are a swing-in slider. This is for ease of cleaning and is a very nice option. Also the Soft-lite windows use a brass roller instead of just relying on plastic on plastic, which tends to wear faster and not provide a smooth operating motion.
